I had the 6 and 6s, although I like the size of them I think I going to go for the 5.5" plus when it comes out as the 4.7" feels small to android alternatives.

Do you all think the 7 plus will be any lighter, thinner than the current 6s plus

Also what are your thoughts on Apple ditching 16gb and having 32gb as a starting point surely this will allow them to have a higher starting price?

Thanks

For me the 5.5" is just too big. My friend has one and every time I use it makes me reaffirm that it's slightly too big for me. With the current form factor I would want a 5.0" iPhone.
What I'm hoping for is when they do the redesign next year (2017) they will eliminate much of the top and bottom border. If they do this then maybe the 5.5" would be more manageable.

It was reported the iPhone 7 would be thinner with the deleted 3.5 Jack. I am unsure if the 7 Plus would be thinner. 32 GB is almost guaranteed. Pricing tiers should stay the same hopefully.

I can hardly wait until the 7 is released THEN we can start talking about the iPhone 8 .
Permission granted....go ahead and start talking about iPhone 8. Here on macrumors forums there is no rule against talking about any future iPhone. However, be sure to use more than one word responses. There is a rule about that.

I am getting excited about the 7. Not sure if I want the plus or not though. I had the 6plus, but got really tired of the size. I then got the 6S and I love it. The only thing I miss about the plus is the battery life. The smaller phone really needs battery life.

Now for the 7. I am hoping they make a space black. Everything on the phone being blacked out. I saw the Note 7 yesterday in Bestbuy, and they had the black one. It looked amazing in all black. I really want to see Apple do it.

I have the 5s and have had it sinse 2014, so I am definitely ready for an upgrade. At first I didn't like that it would be the same form factor as the 6 series, but to be honest, I actually really like how the 6s+ feels in the hand!

That's exactly how I feel. I have the iPhone SE currently. I previously had the 6s and honestly, the SE just is not comfortable for me to hold. It's just feels edgey and unrefined to hold in my opinion. I miss the overall aesthetic appeal and feel to the 6s, which is I am looking forward to upgrading back to the iPhone 7 when released.

People buy iPhone base on color! Apple seems like they going to go back to iPhone 5 color of dull black or Space Black! Look for massive shortage of iPhones due to overwhelming demand!

I agree that the 5s can feel a little edgy at times. The 6s on the other hand feels very comfortable!
