Hey,

I restored my iPhone 7 from my 6s backup. Now I am trying to update via iTunes but get an error message. Tried multiple times.

So I try the over the air update but it tries to download some beta (iOS 10.1 Developer Beta 1) which I can't get rid of. The beta doesn't fully download as well.
Normally I should have General -> Profiles -> and opt out of betas, but that option is gone as well.

Any idea how I can update to the latest stable version?

Thanks :)

Have you tried performing the update through iTunes?

Yes multiple times with the same error message. Unknown error etc..

I assume you were running the beta on your old phone. There seems to be a bug carried over that will show the 10.1 update.

To be honest it's very stable I'd just install it

Do you still have your old phone?

If not I'd go along with just install the latest beta too. It's rock solid.

Somehow it finally worked over the air to update to the beta. It's installing now. The progress bar is super slow and has me somewhat worried.. will keep you posted.
