MAS Apple added a protective layer of glass at the front of their latest 3 IPhone? I ask this because I owned an iPhone 8Plus and notice ed that it protrudes a little more with an added piece of glass that my iPhone 6S Plus hasn't got.

The X, 8, and 8+ have a glass back to facilitate wireless charging.
