Hi guys, been searching the forum for a iPhone 8 (non-plus) battery life thread so here it is.

How’s the battery life for you guys?

Awesome :D

The problem is you can't really compare one user to another as we use our phones very differently.

For reference I have
Background App refresh disabled
75% of location settings enabled
Notifications set for Messenger, 2 email accounts, Facebook Pages
Connected to car bluetooth / Garmin Forerunner 35% of the time
Wifi on
Mixture of music streaming / text messaging / phone calls / FaceTime / web browsing

Easily see a day and a half usage. Best I've seen is approx 8/9 hours usage and 53 hours standby and I think I still had about 5-6% left

That's outstanding. Is the cellular signal in your area excellent?

Generally it's pretty good despite living in the valleys of Wales :D

There are a couple of areas where it may be as low as 1 bar but thankfully it's rare. It's mostly between 2 and full bars so it's not wasting battery looking for signal :)

Typically get 8 to 10 hours of operating time on my iPhone 8. Normally have the brightness at about 30% and don't do much video and no games.

I typically have the usual apps on: Email, calendar, contacts, Safari, iTunes, Camera, a few news sites, stocks, weather, etc.
No , i mean do you keep everything on for the settings like background app refresh , location services , etc
