iPhone 8/Plus Iphone 8+: Gold or Silver?

Im upgrading from a gold 6s+ really soon and i was dead set on getting the silver but I saw the gold and I love it, I am a huge fan of the gold iphones ever since the 5s. The only thing that worries me is the gold thsi time looks more...Pinkish? Do you think the gold looks to girly for a dude?

Purchase which iPhone you like and I wouldn't worry others perception on you based on the color. And I don't think the gold looks more pinkish.

I considered the gold until I saw it in person. Looks like some light pink. It is a beautiful device. Since I like grey/blue cases I decided against it even with the minimal metallic bits that would show through case--camera bump and touch ID button, etc.

The new gold looks like they mixed the old gold with the old rose gold.

Yes, it definitely does appear a bit pinkish under certain light. Nice color though.

Regarding if it's okay for a guy, if you have reservations from that perspective, you might reconsider the color as you don't want to have regret on an expensive device. But if you are confortable with something a bit on the feminine side, go for it and enjoy.

It does look pinkish, personally I find that I like the look though I’ve got an X

I like the gold. It has a retro vibe, and appears as a cream color to me. I don’t see the pink in it at all.

Personally, I prefer the silver..it’s very Appleish, imo.

I seen the gold iPhone 8 which i tried for 2 weeks until the iPhone X came out . I prefer the gold personally, but again it's not as pink as you think.

If far more concerned and you want to know how it looks like, the iPhone 7 GOLD was TOO YELLOW and iPhone 7 ROSE GOLD was TOO PINK. This strikes a perfect balance between the two extremities.

Depending if you want a more feminine aesthetic the gold has a slight pinkish tone. If you want people to know that you have a new model visibly then get it. If you don’t care get silver
