just received my 8 plus this morning and have been using it for a couple of hours. It seems the home button response feedback is weaker than the 7?

I noticed the same when trying out some display models, my wife’s iPhone 7 has much more powerful feedback from the Taptic Engine. I am already on the highest setting

Anyone else notice the same ?

I noticed this as well. “3” on my 8 plus is basically the same as “2” on my wife’s 7 plus.

My theory is the glass back and heavier weight transmits less vibration.

I also feel like mine is a little less sensitive if that makes sense- like sometimes it doesn’t require as much precision or as much pressure to activate my wife’s button. Slight harder to activate mine though maybe it’s related to the lower feedback.

Is anyone else getting the same in their 8 or 8 plus?
