so the iPhone 8 and 8P have a steel substructure and even stronger aluminum. While they do have a glass back does the improved metals mean less likely to be damaged from falls (glass aside)

I’m assuming bending and regular wear and tear, bumps and such are fine
[doublepost=1507083117][/doublepost]I assumed the added reinforcement was to offset the glass

From what i saw in the test

Floating a lot in youtube, bend and regular wear should suffice

You could get the Spigen Liquid Air or Spigen Crystal cases which are pretty thin, yet fairly protective.

God they are so damn heavy and big lol, I suppose if you are careless you'd have no choice but those lol. Those cases almost make it not worth buying a good phone in the first place.

No matter what a phone is made of, if it falls, they can still break or shatter depending on the angle of the drop and what Surface it hits. Those are just plain physics that nobody can deny, regardless if it's aluminum or glass.

I completely agree. I absolutely hate cases. Not only is the phone stunning to look at but the feel amazing as well. I will admit that the 8 is a tad slippery :D but I don’t think it’s any worse than a recent galaxy which I used without a case
