I tried returning it but the store refused too. I got it at Best Buy and the corporate att store can do anything!
should have bought the unlocked version if you were going to return it. Plus, you have 14 days to return it by law i believe

Unfortunately the iPhone 8 is experiencing rapid depreciation. OP, you better sell before you have to pay someone to take it off your hands.
Go to a different store, they should have no problem returning but may charge a restocking fee
Best Buy should return it. But like others say, I think they charge a restock fee. That’s why I buy my stuff from Apple. No hassle returns, and no restock fee.
Please tell us why they won't accept return. Something is off on this. Should fall within return policy.
Yes you can return it to Bestbuy. There will be a restocking fee. The only reason we wouldn’t take it back is if the phone was damaged.
Still waiting for your explanation as to why Best Buy will not take it back
And....don't trust him. $450 for a brand new 8? Blacklisted most likely. It is going for $720+ on Swappa. This person just joined the forum.

Don't take offense. You can't trust people on an internet forum...specially when they are selling a device for almost 50% of the cost on the used market.
