my iPhone 8 has a problem with automatic brightness. If I'm under the sun (or if I just put the phone under a strong light) the phone is not setting the brightness to the maximum. I screenshotted while I was under the direct sun. Is it normal? I tried to restore my phone but it's just the same.

It’s all handled by the OS. I’ve not really looked into it because the usability doesn’t get affected.

I tried to recalibrate and I made also a restore. Nothing changed. I will go at the genius bar and show them the problem

You may have lowered the brightness at one point. I think this changes the auto brightness setting. Go to settings/general/display accommodations and toggle on and off and back to on.
