iPhone 8 to iPhone X - anyone else?

I got an iPhone 8 in September. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to convince myself I could wait until next year for the X. Had my first ever play with it today an Apple Store and immediately sold on it.

I already knew all the gestures and was as intuitive as ever. Screen is simply amazing, the space grey bezel matches my SS SG Apple Watch perfectly.

Anyone else go from iPhone 8 to X?

PS: Shipping is 1-2 weeks. Are people getting theirs quicker? Or a better chance on in-store pick-up?

I actually prefer my iPhone 8 more than my iPhone X. It’s easier to use.

Yep. I had the 8 on launch day, it’s currently in the mail being sold and the X is currently being prepared to ship. Can’t wait.

Picked up my X yesterday (i have an 8+ that I'm CONTEMPLATING giving to the wife). Im really trying to make myself love the X honestly. I loved it in the store and watched all the reviews and thought i would love it even more when i got it. I can honestly say at this moment i like my 8+ more. Hopefully the X will grow on me as my wife is not waiting very patiently...

She really doesn’t care what phone she has honestly although she’s excited about the larger 8+ (she has a 6s non plus now). I’d pribabky take the X back and use my 8+ again and just tell the wife about how much money we’re saving lol honestly with just now having my info now updated on the X I’m going to give it a fair shot.

I would buy an iPhone X if the audio while video recording was acceptable - sadly it's extremely unacceptable (for me)

I went from a iphone 8 plus to a X few days ago and at the moment not sure what to keep, the X feels really small and maybe that's because I've been using a plus model since the iPhone 6 plus; I don't mind the notch and touch id you at least for me I got over it really fast.

The screen it's what making me second guess the phone, 8 plus looks more natural and the X reminds me of the 4s-5 transition.

I initially went for X, but after 3 days returned it and got the 8+ instead.

I have both the 8 Plus and the iPhone X. I much prefer the iPhone X. 8 Plus is on iUP so it will be for iOS beta testing.

I'll be switching from my 8 to the X tomorrow. Whether I like it as much as my 8 remains to be seen because I love the 8.

This subject has been explored so much; been an Apple user since 2008, and arguably, have never seen so much debate and split over a product!

I managed to reverse an iPhone X for in-Store pick-up today!! Logged in at 6am and got a delivery window. Will post my thoughts later in the evening about first impressions between the 8 and X.

I think the applications will become more optimized once the iPhone X, as it continues to mature and developers have More hands on with it.
