Those who have had/tried both, how do you find the difference in speed for general use (app refreshing/opening, browsing etc.)?

I am making a decision today whether to keep the 8plus or swap for the 8 and this will help me decide once and for all!

Exactly! If there's a difference it'll be so minor that it is pretty much irrelevant.
