Can we all take a moment to appreciate just how amazing the the video/camera quality is on the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.

I've just seen seen this video and I cannot believe how far technology has come to be able to produce quality footage like this, on something that fits in your pocket, amongst being a multitude of other useful tools.

Can't wait for my iPhone X 256gb :)

I'll definitely be shooting in 4k 60fps I already love the vids of my daughter at 1080p 60fps, I can't even imagine how good 4k will be.

Beautiful. I had to try out the 4k 60 FPS on my 8 Plus for myself after I saw these and now I'm seriously regretting only getting the 64GB model :D

Large chunks of the footage was shot in 4K 24fps as well, which takes up less than half the storage size of 60fps. Remember to set the file format in the Camera settings to High Efficiency as well, as this will reduce the file size :)

You understand that Apple made no changes from the iPhone 7 camera to the 8you Are Paying a premium for old technology.

You understand that the Sony sensor they are using for the 8 has some great improvements over the 7's. It's not just about megapixels and sensor size.

Read the camera section. If it was the same, it would have been reviewed the same by DxOMark. Don't spew garbage misinformation.

Bellissimo! Anyone know what song is playing in the background?

They did actually make improvements... The 7 plus has a good camera but In all honesty the 8 plus is that much bettwr

Just on the optical zoom lense, main lense is the same all around

Unique to the X is also Portrait Mode with selfies, allowing for a blur effect that improves self-portraits. Don't forget the screen of the X is much bigger and OLED, it has a better viewfinder than 8 or 8+.

Selfie cam is still going to be worse than the rear cam, and it won't shoot 4K 60FPS, heck it only does 1080P 30FPS AFAIK.

Basically unless you zoom in, you won't notice a single difference.

This is not about which camera is worse than the other on itself. Were talking about what about the cameras on the X that are better than the 8 and 8+.

No matter how you cut it with your red herring fallacies... the front camera of the iPhone X has Portrait Mode for more professional looking portraits, and the bigger and better screen makes a bigger and better viewfinder. You cannot deny that.
