Of the two wireless chargers being sold by Apple, is there any reason to pick one over the other?

Not exactly helpful, but one had a big plug in the review I read, but I can’t remember which so that’s not exactly helping you.

I would suggest shopping around for other QI chargers - the Apple ones are very overpriced. Amazon.co.uk have some anker ones in the 15-20 range.

I’m also looking at IKEA’s range as they have lamps etc.

I bought an Anker one from Amazon for £13.99. Apple are charging rather a lot in comparison.

I bought the Belkin one because I wanted a white pad to blend in with my white nighttable.

Apple is charging the same as what they are listed for on Amazon as far as I've seen. The Anker one looks interesting but I like how the Belkin one has a bigger base. I may be go for that one. Im surprised how hard it is to find a white one besides that Belkin one. Does anyone know if both the ones on Apples site have dedicated power or are they both USB?

Anyone know how long wireless charging takes compared to the traditional method. I can see having a wireless charger say on the hall table would be nice to have rather than hunt for a charging cord.

BUT, do I really need it? I get more exercise (steps) running around the house looking for my charging cable AND if I want to watch a video, I prefer to be "hooked" up.

So I went out to Amazon and they have a Belkin for $39. It is not the same one that Apple is selling but it says it works fine with the iPhone 8/+/X. I believe that is the one I will get. In fact, ordering it today.
