Hi,

I'm considering selling my iPhone 3G 8gig for $199 on craigslist. I noted it as being jailbroken and carrier unlocked because I know that Cycorder is something people might be interested in knowing about. My question is, is $199 a good price? I already received around 18 emails from people who want to buy it immediately which makes me wonder if I set the price too low. So, any tips? Did I set the price too low? Would another hundred dollars get less interest in the craigslist viewers? I hate having to reply to a ton of emails asking if they would be willing to pay more.

Thanks for the tips in advance.

I sold my jailbroken iPhone 3G, also 8gig, for $300, but it took a while for responses.

If you want to sell it right away, $199 is a good price.

I JUST sold my nearly pristine (1 1/2inch scratch from an Incase Slider that I sharpied over and was nearly invisible) with a case for $300 cash. Had over 10 responses in an hour on craigslist, yet it didn't sell over 6 days on eBay for the same price. Definitely try for $300.

I think you should ask 300 or more...being unlocked and jailbroken could push the price up to 400-450....a key selling point is that the 3Gs has not been jailbroken or unlocked yet...

Thanks for the responses guys! I'm going to aim $50-75 higher!!!

Also, a little off topic but are the 16gig 3GS phones $299 through ATT without being eligible for an upgrade?

Thanks.

Fully eligible is 299, early upgrade is 499 and out right with no contract would put you at 699

EDIT: My bad thats for the 32GB, take 100 off each for 16GB
