Hello!

I just had to have my iPhone 6 plus replaced due to water damage (yay apple care), and the guy said that the activation may take 3-4 days.

It will work without the sim card in as I was able to restore from back up, but the cellular activation is not going through because it's registering an unsupported sim. I was wondering/hoping if anyone has had a similar experience, or might be able to help. I was able to get it to activate with a Koodo sim, but when I put the WIND sim back in it immediately back to the same activation screen saying it's not supported.

Contacted Apple and they said to contact the carrier. I know for a fact that WIND won't be able to do anything.

Thanks!

Go back to Apple and person that replaced your device.
It doesn't take 3-4 days for activation.
Was the iPhone with the water damage that got replaced unlocked or locked to a specific carrier?

It was originally locked to Telus, but I had it unlocked.
