Is it a good deal to get a like new (opened box) air 1tb at 1070 eur (around 1300 usd) at this point right before the event? Was going for a 17/18 pro max but considering this.

That depends on what you want from an iPhone. If you need the best cameras and very best battery life then the only way to go is the Pro Max’s.

If you want a premium, sleek, light and powerful iPhone and are happy with a few compromises, then get the Air.

The way it looks and feels makes up for the few compromises. Great device.

Just ordered a gold 1tb model.

Verizon gave me a hell of a deal, no trade in required (meaning i get to keep my 15 Pro Max), and $830 off on any plan.

With a likely price increase, air 2 delayed to 2027, and having to trade in my phone for a deal, this was a no brainer.

I get it next week though.

Edit: just found out this uses USB2. It probably wont but makes me wonder if it’ll effect me in anyway. I dont do transfers much.
Ok had some time with my new Air and i love it

I went from a 86% battery health 15 Pro Max, and it is comparable to it in current state. Can last me a full day.

Besides the day that i transfered over my phone data, it has not gotten hot at all during normal use like others claim

I dont feel a need for more camera and i love landscape mode while holding it vertical

The single firing speakers are more than good enough for the rare cases i even use it

The lightness of the phone is super underrated. Doesnt sag my pants much.

Probably wont get an Air 2, but hoping they still make a Air 3 so i can get that down the line.
