iPhone Air MagSafe Battery - AppleCare+

I know in the case of the iPads, generally the Pencil and Magic Keyboard are covered if you have AppleCare+ on your iPad, but does anyone know if the new MagSafe battery is covered with my iPhone Air AppleCare+?

Contact Apple via iMessage and ask. There is no mention of such coverage under the AC+ terms and conditions.
