First working day for me with my new iPhone Air. Previously had a 16 Pro Max (and many more before).

I use my iPhone lots for Teams calls and I always use my AirPods. I tend to leave my iPhone in my study and walk about the house during calls that I’m on that I don’t need to directly participate in.

With my 16 Pro Max I could roam the house (and even garden!) and had zero Bluetooth range issues. Of course I could always find the edge of the range and got broken up sound but just stepping back towards my iPhone quickly cured that.

With my Air I noticed today I could hardly be a room away from my iPhone and the broken sound started up, this is a shockingly shorter range than I’m used to. And it’s left me a bit irritated as now I have found I have to pick up the Air and carry it with me as I roam about.

Early days, but is anybody else finding the same? I hope it’s a bug that can be fixed, not something baked in related to power management or something like that.

BTW if I use my iPad Pro or Mini to do the same I get great range, much like my iPhone 16PM used to give me, this is 100% an iPhone Air difference 🙄
