Best product purchased from Apple, since…It’s thin, light, scratch resistant ( titanium makes a difference) meaning it’s the first iPhone since X that didn’t get a case.
I’ll probably replace it once it gets telephoto lens, stereo sound and some more juice out of that battery.

One of the biggest failures Apple has ever made. They act like it doesn’t even exist anymore. It lasted like less than a month on the market.

It was nice to hold and light in the pocket. It was a disappointment in every other way, unfortunately. Still rattling around one of my drawers cos I paid full price and refuse to take a 50% loss on selling it. First time I had that happen with an Apple product.

Not my experience. It's unbalanced. The "heavy" top end is just that - top heavy. Hold it in one hand and it rotates. Bought one and resold it a month later and went back to a 16e.

I actually have to agree, period. The pro was so heavy and bulky after a while, and this is just a dream, and I am definitely a pro-level user.

As someone who shopped between the Air and 17e, I was looking for a lighter phone, I feel like the 17e is still a better phone for like people who are looking for a phone to be a phone. I almost got the Air but went with the E cause of bigger battery, and better speakers, and it's weight is really close to air.

If I was a person who didn't have access to an iPad Mini, I'd probably got the Air, but, I really don't use my phone for much, other than brief sessions of connectivity.

In the end though I have no buyers remorse, cause of how little I rely on my phone, The weight and battery size matters more to me than thickness. If the air had a beefier battery, like around, 4000 like the E, I'd went with it overlooking the awkward thinness and mono speakers.

However, on days where I am out all day, and have a lot of calls, texts, video conferences and other notifications and things I really can't rely on my iPad mini for, the constant micro sippage of battery on my 17E really makes me appreciate having the larger battery.

Still enjoying my air, but I could go for a slightly smaller screen to lose some of the width. The single camera doesn’t bother me as much as a single speaker…

Picked up a used iPhone Air for about $650 to replace my 13 mini as the battery no longer last as long as I needed for work, was pleasantly surprised and loved the form factor despite of the larger size - feels perfectly usable due to the thinness and super comfortable to hold.

Luckily it is my work phone but the lack of a wide/macro lens is still an occasional bummer (especially at its original price point) when you need it so definitely hope at least we get a macro lens on the next iteration!

Phones this thin have compromised designs. For instance, the Dark Cherry feature is not possible.

Considering the compromises (camera, mono spkr, battery life, etc), I think it was a Tim Cook price gouge phone at $1k. But it didn’t work as soon as they solved very few of these.

Choosing to get away from the weight and bulk of my iPhone Pro I bought an iPhone Air - problem solved. It's been a really good phone for everyday use - but - there are times when I do miss the versatility of my Pro Max. Next week I plan order a new kind of versatility (and go nearly broke while I'm at it), I'm gonna order an iPhone Fold.

I’m ever hopeful for an Air 2 with ultrawide and telephoto. In a world where my iPhone has mainly become a camera and a Duolingo device, it’s literally only the camera deficit that stopped me buying this as my next phone.

Why do people love the ultrawide so much? It distorts things so much and the quality is low around the edges. I've pretty much only used mine out of necessity here and there.

it's an phantastic device.

the only thing you have to get used to when switching from an iPhone Pro Max is the battery. but it lasts the whole day,
assuming you're not a heavy user.

it feels so much better in the hand and in the pocket!

We have 2 Air in my family, never at absurd full price but either at a heavy discount or when we went shopping and found it in Dubai Mall with their generous discount plus tax rebate for tourists. Holding the iPhone, I almost wanted to keep it for myself instead of giving it away to my niece and my sister.

Honestly, even though I have 15PMx, I'm certain to downgrade to Air 2 or even 3 if they launch it rather than buy the "Pro" models any longer.

The iPhone Air is one of the worst phones released in Apple history. Tiny battery, pathetic one speaker and single lens camera. Plus the Air heats up like a volcano ready to explode under heavy usage.

Nobody bought it. Literally the only current iphone that was heavily discounted by carriers in Canada.

They say it gets one more year of production then will be discontinued.

I love my Air! Bought it December 2025 and it's one of the best devices I've owned ever. Sure it has some shortcomings but given its form factor, capabilities I couldn't be happier. Battery holds up great (I top it at 80%) and the pictures come out so great that others ask me what camera I use. And when anyone sees it, they ask me about it, they want to hold it and they always feel amazed. I use it totally naked but have literally no scratches even after 9 months of normal use. If anyone still considers it now, before the 2nd gen - go ahead and buy it, just look for a good discount!
