I did (trust it), and it did (go off on time). I'm not sure why but it definitely seems to be working ok on my phone

I set mine for 5:45 and it went off at 6:45 as expected. ;)

It only affects repeat alarms.

Haha yup just happened to me too, I wonder how expensive this bug is if you collate all the money wasted by companies because their employees come in an hour late thanks to this bug... :)

This has happened before, I'm sure of it. Idiots. Good job we had a backup - an Android!

same here!!

hi all..
same here. I had my alarm setup for 6am but the alarm went off at 7 :D
I had a feeling it will happen!!
Apple.. it would be great if you can fix it before we change the time again.. next april ;)

Mine was a repeat alarm. I wonder if they've put a fix into new phones (mines brand new last week).

This would require a them to install a different iOS than what everyone else has on what you deem 'old' phones....

either that or you are suggesting ti a hardware thing, if that is the case then apple will be getting a lot of returned phones... me being one of them!

Its ridiculous to think that something so simple has gone wrong, but it seems that its not a new thing and has affected people in different timezones for a while.

Same problem here, I have two repeat alarms, neither went off when supposed to (even though the phone (iPhone 4, OS 4.1) updated its time correctly and automatically), but an hour later. Recreating the alarms doesn't help.

+1
iphone 4 on running ios4.1

all previously set weekdays alarm. set at 7 but did not ring until 8. Kinda glad that I ate something bad yesterady and went to bed early. I actually woke up without any alarm at around 7.

will set all my alarms one hour earlier until this is fixed.

Me too

All I say that I have the same problem, on my shiny iPhone 4, all up to date, running repeat alarms. Fortunately I noticed it yesterday.

I urge everyone to complain to Apple via the Feedback pages or by phone. I've had an iPhone for over two years and GMT/BST has never caused a problem before.

The odd thing is that it's "Wrong" under GMT - I'd expect it to be behaving oddly under BST.

Live in US and just experienced this

Click here to send your feedback to Apple. :)

I did the same.

I think your right on that assumption.

No, I was wrong because the new alarms I had set were only single event alarms which still work properly. It's repeat alarms which are going off 1 hour late.

Why, your clocks don't change until 7th November?

Same problem in Holland! Both iPhones appeared to had the alarms go off one hour later than set!! Both Alarms were set previous to the time-change, but were off at the time. We only turned them on yesterday.

Hiddeous bug!!! Luckily for us no consequences, but I can imagine for others it could have. Hope this will be fixed!

Re. Phil A's post, my girlfriend just got a new iPhone 4 after her first one failed and her repeat alarm worked fine. Phil, did you previously have an Iphone before the 4?

+1 To sleeping in this morning. I used my iPhone 3G runing iOS4.1, alarm was set on Friday evening (i.e. before the clocks changed) for Monday 6am. Went off at 7am so I hit all the traffic and wandered into work well late.

Wife's iPhone 4 had the same bug, but kids don't understand that the clocks have changed to they got up an hour early anyway!

Can confirm this too.
Strange... the Clock updated automatically and the alarm time was the same, yet went off an hour late.

If anyones running 4.2 GM can they test to see if repeating alarms has been fixed?

OMG! it happened to me too...on sunday, I had to work :(...

Tcha, that suck because my phone is jailbreaked...

I was running beta 3 at the time, had repeat alarm set for mon - fri morning so I never had a clue over weekend but due to issues I had to restore device back to 4.2 beta 3 to start a fresh.... I re-set my alarm for mon - fri an was woken when I was suppose to be monday morning, an updated last night to GM an worked fine again this morning
