Hey everyone,

for those who have an iphone and use aol mail like me, i was wondering if there is a way to get the "deleted messages" folder.

right now when ii access mail on the iphone with my aol account the folders that show up are:

inbox
saved
sent items
spam
voicemail

I don't know what the voicemail folder is for or why it is there, I would much rather have deleted messages folder instead

does anyone know how to add or change this?

I looked through the settings, and have just been living with it, but sometimes i want to undelete a message or permanently delete a message and can't seem to do so from my iphone.

Though I can do this with my imap mail account

Any info or help is appreciated

I looked into the mail settings more and was able to somehow get rid of the voicemail folder, under mail adavanced settings, the deleted mailbox option is set to "On My Iphone" I tryed to cahnge it to another folder, but it doesn't work because there is no server folder for deleted messages.

Is there a way to get this folder under the the server folders?

You've got...

to get a new email address. I don't have a mac PC yet, I do however have an iPhone and a lot of friends who swear by Mac and knowing the breed, I doubt many of them use AOL.

I have an AOL account as well and I don't see a way to see deleted mail on the iPhone.

deleted messages box

I have one...maybe it has to do with your aol.com mailboxes...because I had the todos and something else I wanted to get rid of on my Mac Mail app...and couldn’t until I deleted them from the aol.com web app mail...

my request is how do I get rid of the Voicemail mailbox...because it is annoying and I have so many RSS feeds in my Mail.app on Mac that I want less things in the other mailboxes so I don't have to scroll up and down so much

any help on getting rid of the VoiceMail box in AOL would be great...thanks

The VoiceMail mailbox is a default folder created by AOL. I checked in the AOL desktop application and on webmail and I don't see a way to remove it.
