iphone and internet sharing?

I know the iphone comes with a internet data plan in the states, and possibly unlimited data on o2 in the uk in november.

Is it possible to share the iphones data internet connection with say a MacBook via bluetooth or wifi? 🙄

Don 't think you can through the built in features of the iPhone but I have seen a video that someone posted on engadget I think that showed how they had used a hacked iPhone to get his MacBook to connect to the net via iPhone.

possible but not very user friendly from what i've heard. everytime you connect you have to manually switch settings and when your done switch them back for the iphone.
