I got a few questions.I was thinking of make a app for iPhone 4s and up and for the iPad.My question is on the iPad can i scan barcode with the iPad?

Will apple let you use thing from github in your apps i was told you can't use 3 partly things in your app if i understand it right?

What would be the best barcode in github to use for the iPhone and iPad for scan barcode? How can i clone thing from github with Xcode?

If it work on the iPad it would work on the iPhone 4s and new iPhones and iPad without a prob?

Would it be easy to start in swift for this project then object C?

Here maybe this can help you out a little bit.

    1. I wouldn't develop for 3.5" devices if this is a brand new app. If you truly want to then go ahead, but personally i wouldn't waste my time.

    2. Yes you can scan using the camera on the iPad, in terms of functionality i don't think there is anything different.

    3. Google whats the best Scanning component, but scandit and Zbar are the most popular. (Let me know what others you find out) Then you would implement this component into your project.

    4. No, this doesn't work. If you develop onto an iPad it Won't be compatible. If you initially develop on an iPhone it can "technically" be used for all devices but there is going to be some layout issues regardless because they're not the same size.

    5. Objective-C is more stable, but if you start with swift, might as well end with it. I don't really see the need of mixing the two unless your improving an existing app.

Swift is definitely the future, but if its the right time to develop with it, i can't tell you that, because we have some bugs regarding swift in our current projects, and sometimes i wish we just developed it all in OBJ-C
