Is there anyway from keeping iPhoto from opening automagically when I plug in my iPhone? For the love of God in Heaven Above, I can't find a way.

Plug your iPhone in and open ImageCapture. In the lower left-hand corner you'll see a preference for "Connecting this iPhone opens". Change it to "No application".

ok i know i should know this and god knows it pisses me off to have to ask the question but....

where is "open imagecapture" is that on the iphone or in itunes? "lowerleft hand corner" of what?

sorry moron = me tonight!! :p

This is an even better fix: Cameras. It lets you specify what to do with any camera that's plugged in to your Mac. For me, it lets me do nothing when my phone's attached, and open Image Capture when my dlsr is attached.
(It's free.)
