iphone and itunes

Hi all about 14 days ago my macbook hdd died and i had to get a new one, after i install everything from a backup, it seems that i can't get my iphone to connect to itunes now, can some one please help me out here as this disabled person is getting ready to run his iphone over 🙂

Try to download the latest version of itunes and update your iphone to the latest version.

I have the latest itunes, and can't download the latest iphone software as the phone wont connect to itune.
