iPhone and Tmobile

sorry if this has been asked before. For some reason the search wasn't working for me.

In any case, if I have an iPhone and it's unlocked, I can goto the T-mobile network correct? Now my question is, would it be able to take advantage of say my favs plans? I know I would be missing out on the visual voice mail and unlimited data. But I really want to know about the my favs. Thanks in advanced.
