Iphone App

    Hi all,
    I bought a new Iphone. I want to write some new apps for Iphone.. Can anyone tell me about this? From where I have to start and what are the knowledge required for this ?

    Oh !! sorry .. I forgot to mention .. I am a windows XP user. ( not mac)

    ... iPhone :rolleyes: Anyways the SDK is the only 'legal' way for you to try to write some apps, good luck with that.

    Then you're out of luck, sorry dude.

    The iPhone is based on Cocoa and the OSX 10.5 software, not windows, so you're gonna have to at least buy a Mac Mini if you wanna code for the iPhone.

    And don't even start complaining (aka "well why can't I on an XP?"). Just don't. The iPhone was built on 10.5, so 10.5 is the ONLY way to write code and apps for it.

    And objective-c isn't simple. It's gonna take some time to learn how to code.

    so apps on the iphone run objective-c? if i wanted to learn how to write apps thats where i should start?

    You could also research how the current apps were written as many were done on Windows machines. That will give you practical info.
