iPhone iPhone apps - can’t update

I manually update iPhone apps. Today when I click “update” the update doesn’t download. Never encountered this problem before.

Anyone else?

I've had this happen a few times recently (in the last few months). It'll work eventually. Definitely recommend volume up volume down hold power.

It was 45 apps needing updates, so delete/reinstall wasn't going to be a first fix.

It did resolve itself as @BigMcGuire suggested. Not sure why, because it didn't work after restarting.
