I managed to sshftp into my touch and copied all the apps to the touch's app directory...however, they all crash when I try to launch them from the springboard...is there something I forgot to do? I have the bsd subsystem installed...

iPhone Native Apps

- Install all ".app" folders into /Applications/ on your iPod.
- Install GMM.framework into /System/Frameworks/ on your iPod.
- Install MobileMailSettings.bundle into /System/PreferenceBundles/ on your iPod.
- Log in to your iPod using an ssh client, then type this command: /bin/chmod -Rf +x /Applications/ (You MUST do this for apps to work!)

Most likely the last tip....but all must be done

Make sure you do this: chmod -R a+x /Applications/*

Also no need to install Apps in that folder since the ITWMS is already on the touch. Does the phone and sms app even function? I didn't install them.
