Deslock You read my thoughts, i have exactly the same wish list, so i am not alone in this cruel world...
Never had this problem with any of my Sidekicks before I got my iPhone... and now they look like joke toys from the 80s!
I would love to have an ebook app that could also read .rtf files and remembered where I last was in the book. That'd be great!
Wow, I love those mockups. I really, really want an SDK released and to see all the cool apps that people come up with!

I cannot believe we haven't seen something yet! Come on, give us a dashboard and allow widgets galore!
My wish list
1) Native Apps (so I don't constantly have to wait for the Bible to download from my webpage when I want to read it. Over EDGE, each chapter takes 4-5 seconds.)
2) Video Out, support for quicktime interactive and/or Keynote so I can present from my phone and not lug the laptop.
3) Ringtone (iTunes store or not, I don't care) but something that doesn't require hacking.
4) Spotlight, including "back to my Mac" to search and view any file on my entire .mac account. (And more than just 100 e-mails! The 100 I have on the phone are the 100 I still remember.)
5) Sound/video recording to I can take notes in class or catch an event in action.
