iPhone & ATT: advertising genius

    i got it. I know why apple chose AT&T...it's a marketing genius. Apple is introducing a phone that you literally touch the screen to do everything you want to do on it. with as many fingers as possible. AT&T has an old, but very famous, slogan that says: reach out and touch someone. I think they are going to resurect this slogan, for the iPhone + AT&T commercials.

    ok, i'm just having fun, but i did think it was interesting.

    Interesting, but Apple is in charge of all marketing for the iPhone.

    as they should be. at&t isnt bad, but compared to apple.. it's comical :eek:

    Thats one theory. Although I doubt they made their decision to go with cingular based on their old slogan. Its probably more because verizon told them to get lost. Who else was left...Tmobile? I wish.

    i don't think this is going to happen. rarely has a company ever gone back to using an old slogan. and i say rarely, because i don't want to say never .but i can't think of any instance this has ever been done. at&t has a new slogan, "your world. delivered." they're not going to change that.
