Any of you guys have any idea where does iTunes stores the back ups for the iPhone?

I've been searching with spotlight and finder and I can not find them on the HD. If any of you can give me a light on where are they i'll appreciate.

BTW, Can the back ups be store on a External HD separetly from iTunesto be later moved to a new HD?

What Mac OS version are you on?

Lion
Snow Leopard
Leopard

The Path is:

Macintosh HD> Users> (user name)> Library> Application Support> Mobile Sync> Backup

but in Lion, Apple had hidden the Library folder, so you will be to go into terminal and type in "chflags nohidden ~/Library" (without quotes) and press enter.

Oh yeah! forgot about that.

I'm on SL.

Thanks man!, i've been trying to find them since sat. I should be able to move them to Lion without the need of time machine right.
