    Hey people,

had a quick trawl through the threads here, cant seem to find anything relating to this specific issue:

Just bought a second hand 3gs, noticed an issue with the screen.

There's a rectangle in the (almost exact) centre of the screen that is lighter than the area around it, so roughly the outer centimetre of the screen is darker than the rest. It's particularly noticeable on higher brightness settings, and mainly on plain dark backgrounds.

Photo included so you can see what I mean.

Is this a normal 'feature' on 3Gs's or has something gone wrong?

It'd be great if I could get some quick responses, as if I'm going to send it back i'll have to do so promptly.

    Thanks for your time

Might be a cheap LCD replacement by the original owner.
