Hello everyone.
I have updated to iOS 7 and everything went well and I love it.
BUT. My friend, he went on and updated his iPhone, but he remembered later that he didn't back it up. So a lot of images were deleted.
Is he "doomed" or is it possible to restore them anyhow?
Thanks.

I suppose your friend updated to iOS 7 by restore and not by upgrade? And no iCloud backup either?

I think he did it from his iPhone... Like straight from there...
No PC was even involved.
And yes, no iCloud either.

I guess something went wrong because you shouldn't lose your photos at all if you upgrade your iPhone over-the-air. I'm afraid that if he doesn't have either an iTunes backup on his computer or an iCloud backup he can't possibly retrieve those photos. I hope somebody can help you though, so maybe you should wait for another response from a more expert guy. Also you mentioned he didn't lose ALL the photos from but only some of them?
