Long story short,
in a family three iPhone users with tons of pics etc etc which rip off tons of space and as such hard drive space getting thinner and thinner, was thinking at getting extra space on iCloud to backup the phones there and free up hard drive space (can't upgrade the drive, it's an iMac to which I upgraded from spinning to solid state and don't want to invest more money into it) or, but dunno if feasible, to backup locally but on an external drive but dunno if possible and, if so, how.
