iPhone backup question

Hi,

If I sync my iPhone with iTunes on my Mac, and that Mac is connected to a hard disk via Time Machine, will my iPhone also be backed up to the backup disk? If so where will the data be.

As long as you backup the iPhone backups, they will be backed up on the Time Capsule. You can follow this guide from TUAW.
