So I purchased a used Apple Watch series 2 and I set up as a new watch etc, the watch named it after my iphones name which was fine.

But opening the widget menu and under batteries the watch is called Roberts Apple Watch instead of mine.

Any ideas. I have force restarted my iPhone 8 and currently waiting on watch OS updating to newest

in the watch app on the phone....

settings -> general -> about -> name

you can re-name it there, that might work.
(you might have to change it to something else, then change it back)

otherwise sometimes a un-pair and re-pair of the watch can clear up strangeness.

Fixed, in paired and re paired. However now it just calls it Apple Watch. Better than somebody else’s name!

I have two watches paired and named one “Apple Watch silver” and the other ‘Apple Watch black”. Somethings not right in your setup.
