Hi! I know the iPhone Bad battery problems that were fixed with an iOS update.

I bought an iPhone last week and wonder if it might not have a different battery problem.

After 12 hours of mostly sitting around doing nothing (part of that over night) it's down to 59% battery and that's with all background programs turned off, wifi turned off and location services turned off. Just writing this took 3 % power. Can that be normal?

Do you know if there is an app to check the battery? Or is that just how the iPhone battery Works?

Thanks!

Ah, I just read the Batterygate thread on the iPhone forum, I didn't see that on my iPhone (must be blind), so I guess the short battery life is a known problem.

Sorry for posting this as a separate thread!
