If I am registered on a dev account to use Beta 1, can I upgrade to Beta 2 without issue?

Yes, provided you have access to the account itself.

No, I don't have access to the account. Why would I need it?

To download the software. It is against the terms of service and potentially illegal for you to only have your UDID registered to someone else's account.

If you didn't buy the account, you don't deserve the software.

    'deserve' wow ...

Is there some kind of initiation that one has to go through in order to "deserve" access?

I have another question. When I download the file, it comes up as a file full of a bunch of junk and it won't let me restore to it. How can I make it so I can?

    P.S: I'm on OS 10.5.6

It is against forum rules to ask for help that breaks license agreements.
