I'm going to take the picture through the scope of my rifle, maybe even record a video of it. Think, if you mounted the phone just right it would act as a digital rifle scope.

Birders have been doing this for many years, but mainly using spotting scopes, it's often called 'phonescoping'. With a fixed focal length lens, it's not quite as useful.

small image sensors do have some advantages over large sensors in these applications.
 
Just took this using my iPhone and bog-standard Celestron refractor. It was a complete b*tch to get lined up properly in the viewfinder!
