80% on my iPhone 4 with Auto Brightness ON

Dull screens result in eye strain. I only lose about 30min of extra standby/day which im happy with

100% brightness at ALL times, I don't care if it kills battery or overheats... I cannot stand a dim lit phone it pisses me off

About 60%. Just below the "n" in "Brightness". Auto-Brightness on.

We have a percentage option in the battery display setting, it's a shame we don't also have the option to display the actual percentage on the settings screen for brightness. It would make life much simpler for threads like this instead of having to guess and say things like "under the n" or "an inch from 0"!

    somewhere between 60%-70%

I agree, the brightness needs a percentage meter.

Does anyone else find the iPhone 4 auto brightness quite a bit more "aggressive" than the previous iPhones.. In a dark room, it gets way too dim for me..
