I have had an iphone for years now, and never had any issue like this... until recently I bought my daughter a iphone 4, I set it up with her own email address (gmail) and itunes account, so everything is in her name.

However when anyone sends me an invite on their calender from their iphone (namely my ex wife or other daughter) my daughter gets the invite and I don't?????

I cannot for the life of me work this out, I have checked settings, icloud etc and all is in my daughters Gmail account name, these accounts are not linked or anything either, it just doesn't make sense.

The only thing initally I did was set up the phone with my sim card, however she has her own in it now.

Anyone have any ideas?

Make sure that none of your daughter's accounts have Calendar sync enabled.

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Gmail > Calendars > OFF - same for iCloud.

You might want to check with your exwife what iCloud/Gmail accounts she uses for her Calendars.
