Yes I created a thread a while back on the camera on my 2G, but today it really messed up. It looks like one of the cool effects in photo booth. too bad I can't use it for the DTV converter tear down that was going to be on iFixit. ;(
But hey I have Apple Care. I'll call them tommorow and they can ship me a new iphone. yay.

Your camera's internal sensor has a problem. Apple will replace it for you for about $50-70 I guess..

My wife's 2G iPhone does that too. It's not that way all the time though. It will usually work fine if it's outside in bright sunlight. I'd love to take it in to get replaced for her but it's unlocked (I got it from AT&T when I lived in the states) and it is probably well outside warranty.

I thought Apple would replace it for free? It has an Apple Care protection plan until July 18, 2010.
