Hi all,
Want to know about few things before getting my 14pm
Does apple improves camera Performance via firmware updates? If so ,has it happened before ? Comparatively samsung brings camera optimisation on a monthly basis along with firmware updates, is this something apple Does as well on a regular basis ?

Any information on the above will be greatly helpful.
Thanks

The way Apple does their updates is they can design the camera and leave it as most of the updates are fixes for other issues. Normally we don’t ever have issues with the camera and if there are updates, they are minor because it still works very well. With iOS 16, portrait mode, and cinematic video mode were greatly enhanced on the background blur while in use, so that was very helpful. Samsung may do a lot of updates for their cameras, etc. but they still aren’t anywhere near as good as iPhone. Check out this video review right here, Apple wins.

Never buy hardware based on assumed software updates. You might see slight improvements over time, but any major camera updates will be in iPhone 15.
