iPhone camera lens question

I did a search and I couldn't find an answer. Does anyone know if the camer lens on the iPhone is made of glass?
 
I don't think it is. I know that people have had their lenses scratched, and that makes the photos look funny. 🙁
 
Dang, that sucks if thats the case. I was just wiping the lens off with one of my lens cloths, so that question popped into my head.
