is there any way to protect it? I notice with my new phone that the camera is a whole lot clearer and I'm pretty sure it's because having it for a year got all dust and scratches on the little lens. So any ideas or suggestions??

Griffin Clarifi case. I have it since some months and I am molto contento. It looks nice, protects the iPhone's lens and provides additionally a close-up lens. Highly recommended!
