why does the camera in 2.0 ask 4 my location?
thats a really bad virus ported over from vista. DENY THE MESSAGE AT ALL COSTS!!!
Kidding, it is for geo-tagging photos
Should have googled! Sorry, Thanks
Is it going to ask for it every time I open the application up?
yeah it annoying all the location based apps keep asking for permission to use location all the time...it sholdve been a set it and forget it feature in the settings menu
do u wants apps to use location services yes or no
and then quit prompting if its a yes
C'mon, iPhones aren't the Showtime Rotisserie Oven.
No, but seriously, it really should be a one time thing. Even once a week would be fine with me.
In the settings there is an option to turn location services on or off.
It asked me everytime I opened "camera" up for the first few hours of using it. For some reason now, it never asks me... Is there a reason I don't get asked anymore? (I want to know because if I want a pic to have geotagging, i want to know how to make sure it gets tagged)
is there any way I can view where I took the picture? Or what can I do with these geotagged photos?
If you put them on Flickr (or similar sites, I presume), it has a feature where you can view your photos (and other public photos) on a map. Presumably there's an iPhone app in the works that uses it too, in fact there probably already is one.
