Ever since I upgraded to Mountain Lion, I'm no longer able to synch my 64 GB 4S with iTunes. I get an error message that says that there isn't enough room to sync my phone and that the phone needs an additional 5.72 GBs. However, I have 25.6 GBs available.

iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1.1 on a Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion
iTunes 10.6.3 and have 94.35 GB available on my local HD (see attached)

Is anyone else having this problem? I have included a screenshot for reference.

Thanks in advance!

Chris

I took the computer to the genius bar the other day and we re-downloaded iTunes and re-installed it and got the same problem. Is there a better/different way to uninstall iTunes? The genius was dumbfounded too.

You need 5.72GB MORE than the amount available on your hard drive now. The message says you need an ADDITIONAL 5.72GB.

Thanks for your reply. However, as I mentioned above, I actually have sufficient space on my iPhone as well as my local HD; which makes this problem all the more puzzling.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Chris
