iPhone cannot call Verizon numbers...

Hey gang, my wife and I both have AT&T iPhones, mine is a 3Gs and hers is a 3G. Tonight neither of us can call any Alltell/Verizon numbers. It says calling, but never connects. We are in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Both phones have been restarted multiple times, with no luck. Anybody else having this issue?

Sounds like an AT&T issue, not an iphone issue.
 
Sounds like a Verizon issue to me, but I was hoping someone else would be experiencing the same problems.
