Resolved iPhone cannot correct "tge"?

Why does the iPhone still refuse to correct "tge" when I mean "THE"!!!!

I have no idea why I mistype "the" so often but I do, and the typo is almost always "tge" and although the iPhone does a wonderful job of auto-correcting almost all words, it fails on this one.

I've corrected it over and over again and yet the dictionary doesn't get altered. Anyone have a thought to a reason why this typo never gets corrected?

Corrects it fine here.
That means you've probably added it to your dictionary - or you have a contact in your phone labeled tge.

Hmm, ok. I'll look through my contacts but I've tried resetting my dictionary before and it still didn't help.

EDIT: Reset my dictionary again and now it's fixed. Nice.
But I swear I did this with iOS 3 and it didn't fix it.

How do you reset the dictionary?

Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Dictionary

Boom.
